Wow!!! This is your dream horse! We were first attracted to Atticus because of his flashy looks4 white socks, a star, and a dark bay coat. We fell in love with Atticus because of his personality, athleticism, movement and heart. Purchased from the breeder: Pineland Farms he is the reason we have started developing young Dutch Warmbloods bred in the U.S. Atticus is a 2005 Gelding out of Neostan (Florestan) X Burggraaf. The best combination of classical Dutch dressage and jumping bloodlines. Atticus lives up to his expectations. He has fantastic movement and suspension. We have not pushed too hard because of his size, but the times we have asked, his walk is a 10, his trot floats, his canter is huge and his jump is big and brave. We cant decide whether he is better suited for dressage or jumpingwell let you decide. We can tell you this: Atticus is truly the whole package. He is a happy horse that enjoys people and his work. He has been trained in all the basics: farrier, trailer bathing, clipping, etc., and because he is so sensible, we sometimes forget that he is only three. He will hack out alone or with others. He had a full vet check in March 2007 and was approved by New England Equine for training up to Grand Prix level. Video is available on YouTube. Look up

Id like you to know that all of Atticus's training has be pre-approved with a vet on his readiness. Because of his size, his training has been gradual. He is a wonderful horse because he is not pushed and always exceeds the expectations of what he is asked. Thanks for your interest.

From what's on this video, this horse is being worked just like he should be at his age. He's getting light hacks on the flat, nothing strenuous is being asked of him, he is not getting jumped while ridden, and his free-jumping was at a height that was very easy for him to do, he did not have to work to get over that fence. He's being started just like any young horse should. It looks like he's got some manners and is very well-behaved and respects his handlers as much as any 3yr old can.

wraps will not prevent all injuries. and this looks like it's definitely a sale video, they wanted to show off his flashy socks, and it looks more appealing to show off his flashy socks rather than cover them up and make them look awkward with boots. if he really needed boots for brushing or overreaching, i'm sure the owners would have put boots on him.

your horse should have wraps on!!! Do you want him to go lame when he is only 10 years old?? Every young horse that jumps or even does work should ALWAYS have wraps on because there bones are still growinG!!! and you shouldnt be riding him a lot either because the plates in his back will be bent and when he is just a little older, he will get a swayed back
