A small, but powerful protest being held outside a new army recruitment center in downtown NYC, 12.30.09. The protest was sponsored by World Can't Wait, had a total of six of us, and was very effective condemning the ongoing war crimes that are the Iraq and Afghanistan Occupations. We had many locals thanking us for protesting the army presence in their neighborhood as well as a few pro-military individuals who we're exactly thrilled with what we were doing.
I think she does a lot of good work, organizes tons of protests and generally makes them very open and available to people who want to get the word out or express their discontent with the state of things.
