@gredangeo Haha, yeah. It will take a while for North-Americans to have it in them naturally to have a feel for a certain weight measured in kg's and grams. Just the fact that our continents have these two separate types of measurements comes with a big draw-back; Very few people in Europe are willing to work with American companies.
Just look at Britain, they use the same system as America and their industry is horrible because Germans and Scandinavians avoid working with them.
@FreddoX1 con't: To visualise the weight of something and get a 'feel' for it. - pounds. If I have to actually work with it and apply math; metric. g and kg work together better than pounds and ounces.
Yeah, I know, it's all fucked up. and we should just move to metric, but the assholes in Toronto still want to communicate with the assholes in Detroit, because our borders are too close. Europe is in its nice own world. Lucky bastards. :)
@FreddoX1 At least you only have to deal with one of it. Like the Americans. Here in Canada. I have to put up with both. Which causes me to prefer some things Standard and other things Metric. Ex:
Large scale, in KM, to know the distance. Small scale, inches and feet. Like my height and working in the machine shop. Seeing that many 'mm' like 500 is hard to see. Likewise, 500feet, I can't see that either. I want that distance in meters.
@nadavg10 Exactly, I'm an Engineering student and get so frustrated when Americans insists in using fahrenheit and inches. Not only does the calculations become inaccurate, but it takes up so much unnecessary time and energy to convert whatever you might need to convert.
great video but why in Fahrenheit, inch? You know that the common American-drinking-bud-watching-Football douchebags wouldn't have a slightest idea of what "extrusion" or "aging" is. Simply because you have to be an Engineering or Chemist student to understand it. And these guys usually know and prefer the metric system, quite naturally, like the rest of the world.
