@CrystalEyesxx Opera singer is called an "opera singer" because they sing in operas. This is why they are called opera singers. It's a profession not style of singing. Opera is sub-genre of classical vocal music. "popera" or classical crossover is not opera, it's a very different genre; each genre has its merits and appeals to different people. Sarah Brightman could not sing in opera, and vice-versa, most opera singers couldn't sing many of the songs Sarah Brightman sings well.

@belokie I believe some of these other people have difficulty drawing a line between appreciating beautiful singing from a little girl and creepy adult-child idolatry. They need to back away and take inventory of their own psychological needs, triggers and proclivities to child obsession.
