My name is George Desmond Jr. My oldest daughter, Angela, was married on August 21st of 2010. When she asked me what song I would like for our Father / Daughter dance, the one and only song that came to mind was Across the Universe. It seemed only natural to choose this song since I have been a fan of John Lennon and the Beatles since I was young and have since created fans in my daughters. They grew up just as I had, listening to John Lennon and the Beatles and loving every minute of it.
