PM fires up at 'sexist, misogynist' Abbott

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has accused Opposition Leader Tony Abbott of being sexist and a misogynist, in a blistering counter-attack after the Mr Abbott called for Speaker Peter Slipper to be sacked "immediately".

Julia Gillard used DIRECT QUOTES from Tony Abbott which are SEXIST COMMENTS. Obviously you were not paying attention to her speech she pointed out Abbott criticized her for being an unmarried woman, he attacked her because she is a feminist and he stood by signs calling her a bitch and a witch. Tony Abbott is indeed a misogynist just because the man has a wife and two daughters does not mean he can't be a sexist pig. This creep he also said that women in Australia are not FIT to be LEADERS!

Julia Gillard has put Australia on the WORLD STAGE people across the world are paying close attention. I have read some of the Australian newspapers and no surprise most of the writers are old white males. So, it seems to me Australia has a serious problem with discrimination, injustice and sexism. Julia Gillard is not perfect I know this she does not support gay marriage even though I think she should. I hope Julia can see the light equality should be for everyone regardless of race, class ect.

Good, I hope you elect Abbott then since you are so unhappy with Gillard. I still like the fact she stands up for comments made about her and her father. I am not going to stop respecting her because you dislike her. I think a lot of female American politicians up and coming can learn from her.

70% of Australians are upset and on edge about her. The inappropriate comment? He looked at his watch, he did not make any inappropriate comments. You are told about some of the immoral and illegal things she's done and your response is to have a go at me instead of investigating her.

You sound really upset about something. I still find Gillard a fascinating politician/woman, and I usually follow someone more when someone seems this on edge about it. You seem to have it out for her. I find her amazing for standing up to male politicians who do make inappropriate comments about women. I am not Australian, so if you want to go argue the finer points of what a bad politician you think she is, do it with one of them.

That is because neither Bush or even Obama were as sexist, racist, deceitful or as utterly incompetent as this women. She's not an environmentalist at all.

Before you follow her, I suggest you find out more about her lies, her misandry, her affairs with married men, the fraud she committed, how she stripped single mothers on their pensions, how she took Australia from zero debt to more than twice the debt we have ever had, how she wants to tax people's retirement savings, the list is endless.

c-stop predicting the election results, i happen to know u're too pov for a crystal ball. tony is frantically tripping over himself now to get some last minute policy inspiration because years of being a grim little man have only landed him ass flat in the mud he tried to smear on the government. what are the odds he'll end up back in the church nxt year in the realisation that he isnt cut out for top job and couldnt govern piss in a urinal and that all he's built to be is a savage dog on a lead

if gillard wins again, she'll be able to eventually bend and twist enough to pass gay marriage. but guys think.. if we poll for labor before the election with something like 75 to 35, libs will panick and put turnbull back, then they will win, all to the power of the ppl for once!

after all that i think gillard or either combet, wong, albanese plibersek and shorten will make great opposition leaders.
