  • Umm . . . this version is okay, but let's not get carried away. LOTS of singers - such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Eckstine, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Al Hibbler, Carmen McRae, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, June Christy, Anita O'Day, Louis Armstrong - have interpreted this, as well as other "meaningful" songs by Duke Ellington.

  • I've heard a lot of versions of that song, and this really is my favourite, the others being too much pretentious or slow...
