The truck in the video is a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4X4. Wendy explaining how to lift the front end of a truck 2 or more inches for free using the torsion bars. Make sure to equally tighten the bolts so the truck sits level. Tightening the torsion bars can make them more susceptible to breaking when stress is put on them so make sure you dont tighten these bolts to much. This method of lifting might also cause damage to your CV joints over time due to the increased angle.

  • will it work on a 2001 tacoma??

  • @S4NCHEZ93 If it has torsion bars it will work.

  • can u do thia with a 1997 chevy s10

  • @SMagdaleno4600 you should be able to. As long as the s10 has torsion bars

  • Any lift by torsion bars or an ordered lift kit will throw off factory alignment angles. But if done evenly you will not have any pull to either side. Also my tires have not worn unevenly

  • would this work on a 2003 dodge ram quad cab 2 wheel drive ? : O

  • @teroorofdeath69 yes it will

  • 4:28 lmao wow in the background.

  • You should let everyone know who does this that it will give you a rough ass ride, and wear out your tires inside out, throws alignment out of wack, dont be a dumbass and buy a set of aftermarket keys to replace factory, keep ur ride smooth no tire wear.

  • @timewazter08 make sure you keep your timber limber, AND DO NOT let your meat loaf and i will gaurentee you one day just one day.... you will be a hard man to beat off!!!!

  • 4:26 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @biglarryhasahairy.. After market keys will not keep factory ride nor stop the tire wear.. the lift keys are only needed if you dont have enought threads on your bolts to get your wanted amout of lift.. stock keys and aftermaket lift keys are just indexed differently, there not magicaly lifting the front of the truck without stiffening ride and changing IFS angles. Also be careful how high you go with stock shocks will only extend so far, and hard angle for CV joints also.

  • will this work on my 2003 ford explorer sport trac

  • shit it does work. just went out and did it on my 03 ram 1500 and got 2" thanks

  • lift the truck with a jack and its easier to tighten the bolts.

  • The back gets lifted up 2
