Now the bigger question is, did she really want him to stay and have a drink with her, or did she want to screw him? It sounds unlikely, but Quentin has a way of fucking with the audience, much of the scenes prior to the dance imply that there is some sexual tension between the two even if neither one makes a move. Sure the bathroom thing is often Vince's sign of bad luck, but in this case he probably woulda have gotten in trouble if he didn't That is of course if the tension was genuine.

That was heroin in the jacket. early on Vince's dealer said he didn't have any balloons (commonely associated with heroin.) to put it in so he put it in a baggie. He also took some heroin on the way to Mia's house. The gag is that She thought it was Cocaine.
