I was only going by what I saw, and I will admit I've always enjoyed these commercials...and I did write that 3 years ago...
Actually, a person I know bought those knives and said they were brilliant a decade after they got them...

Tim Shaw was not a tool. I have seen several interviews with him. He actually detested doing these add. He is simply a Man who knows how to make money and sell anything. As he said to make money you need to either sell something people want or convince people that what you are selling is something they want.
Forget market trends he said.
