- Demo of a Rising Windmill recovery.
This is just a quick demonstration of how to do a Rising Windmill (requested by a fellow viewer).

Note: Rising Windmill is used for a fast recovery from when you've fallen on the ground.

Other Tips:
- Try to use the swinging momentum of your legs to generate the upward force in the end.
- During the last part when your legs are swinging and you are lying on your back, the upward push using your body is similar to the upward push used to perform a Kip Up. (It is recommended, but not required, to learn how to do a Kip Up before learning the Rising Windmill)

  • so its kinda like when when your legs bring you to your back you do a kip up 180 but using your hands a little bit differently?

  • @flyingdynomight Yeah, kinda. And also use your legs' spinning momentum to help that happen.

  • bad form all around in this video.

  • @Phobboi Oh dang. So what needs to be fixed? If you upload a video with good form, I'll be happy to put a link to it.

  • @frostydisco sure thing. i'll try & remember to record something next time i'm practicing.

  • @Phobboi cool beans.
