@SteelBundle2 Yes I already knew that since before I posted that old comment but I meant that they should've actually went through with it anyway since they already had his design planned out and everything it would've been easy to make him a stopgap big boss/side-boss in the phazon mines.

@Gam3Junkie7 did you know that kraid almost made it into metroid prime? i belive he was complete but removed due to time constraits.

@Arctandem I will never forget Omega or Quadraxis: they were two of the biggest and most epic boss enemies of the series ever period. Imagine however if you would: if the Space Pirates repeated what they did on Tallon IV and instead of the Berserkers they came out with improved Elite Pirates and possibly even more Omegas? Samus would be Screwed ~ unless she stepped up her game again.

@Gam3Junkie7 Don't You remember the Omega space pirate from Metroid Prime 1? That thing was fucking enormous. And Quadraxis from Prime 2. That thing was quite possibly bigger than kraid.

@Gam3Junkie7 He was also slated to appear in Metroid Prime as a boss in the Phazon Mines, with a metal dome covering his head and blue Phazon veins on his belly, but was removed due to time constraints

Kraid was heavily underrated. I think Nintendo and Retro Studios should try to make a Prime-like remake of the original Metroid games to give enemies like Kraid so much more life and status. Imagine how fun it would be to fight something as big as that in a Metroid Prime game!
