I'm a Consumer advocate. Plz Follow these safety tips!

All unsolicited spam E-mails, spim[unsolicited instant messages] , Potential Lenders [requiring advance fees] Job offers[involving wire transfers/checks/paypal & shipping], Checks/money orders from OVERSEAS & from the states are SCAMS!! If it seems too good to be true, it probably a scam. If it's unsolicited, it's a scam!! Never Click on a Link that you saw in a unsolicited email.

Never pay with Western Union or Money Gram - That's right -- never! These methods have proven to be unsafe when paying someone you don't know.

Don't send money to someone you don't know or whose identity you can't verify.

Avoid scams All spam emails/unsolicited phone calls/letters and faxes are scams. As a general rule - ANYTHING involving Western Union/money gram = Scam. If you sell stuff online.. Accept Cash or paypal only. If you buy stuff online.. Use Paypal only. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! NEVER(ever) give out your personal information to strangers online or offline! Always be on guard.

I recieved a call saying that I had won a price, that they already had my information, they just needed to "verify it" so they asked for my routing number. Of course I did not give it. be careful out there!
