Ik ben blij dat jullie in Nederland ook van Crooked Still hebben gehoord. Nothing Redneck about their music, but some may confuse them as being a "Christian" band, wat ook niet waar is!! This is exactly why they seem to stand out of the ''crowds''' to me. This unique sound.
And this is coming from a Dutch guy who previously dismissed any form of country as ''redneck''. This moves me and I love it.

This was such a completely dark album (Still Crooked). It's no wonder they hardly perform songs from it anymore.

@lucjyjazz As a guitar picker myself, I have to disagree with what you say here. They have a great sound without guitar running through it. The instumentation they use IS the sound they're looking for. Go with it.
