This is a 1 hour sculpt compressed in 6 minutes.
I used water based clay (WED) and didn't have anything in mind in terms of design so it's kind of free style sculpting. what ever comes in mind at the moment. :)

  • Thanks so much for posting this. Really inspiring. I noticed early on that you wore gloves, but later they were gone. Could you comment on this please. thanks again.

  • @heatray1 Thank you.

I usually wear gloves when i'm shaping the first basic forms so that my hands don't get dryed up by the clay. I hate that feeling!

  • Thanks very much everyone!! ;)

  • what do you use for the eyes?? are they just normal beads like you'd use for jewellery or a special "baking" bead that can withstand high temp in an oven....if your baking it dry?

  • @Dragonlordmike i used regular glass marbles for this one. It's not going to get baked . Probably molded with plaster in order to get a latex cast of it.

  • Very cool. I like the result of your freestyle sculpt. Is this something you'll take further - or will you leave it mainly as a concept?

    Thanks for sharing!

    -Scott

  • @ishkur13 Thanks! I'll finish it and mold it. The battery of the camera dyied while i was making it so it's a little different now.
