  • Shortly before he passed away AC played 2 shows at a local club. I got tickets for me and my bro to the first show. It was a great show. He blew us away. During the encore we ordered a pitcher of beer and as people are leaving the first show we sat there drinking our beer. Next thing we know, folks are filing in for the 2nd show. We decide to stay. Another great performance. Albert passed away several months later. Only time I ever saw him. Damn glad we bought that pitcher.

  • SRV wore an Albert Collins strap. respectively.

  • @comatosecollin haha don't worry about me,i always drink too much and make ridiculous comments that make no sense!i actually changed to chrome so i could disable comments but i guess its not taking.like you said sev definately loves the iceman, who doesn't?

  • @DanielGrozier Not sure who you think is the Master or Scholar, but there's no comparison in my opinion to the ones who learned from the folks before them. There would be no SRV without Albert Collins, i was merely pointing out the homage that SRV paid to Albert Collins. Anybody could say SRV was better, and they may be right, but he wouldn't be the player without guys like Albert Collins and King, so it's a mute point. certainly no disrespect intended.

  • @comatosecollin damn straight.buts its disrespectful to compare a scholar to his master, respectively

  • @TheBlackycat Nice!

  • his hair is like a hat... and i must have it

  • There is nobody like Albert Colins

  • you can tell the musicians are feeding off that energy, enthusiasm, and raw-bone talent.

  • i love albert he is so exciting to hear good stuff. He makes blues fun!

  • ALBERT COULD DO THINGS WITH THAT TELE. NO ONE TO THIS DAY HAS COME CLOSE
