A quartet of queens invite each other to Alice's (Meryl Streep) dinner party, in this clip from the New York Shakespeare Festival production of Elizabeth Swados' "Alice At The Palace" (1981). Look out for Betty Aberlin as one of the queens, a familiar face for those who watched Mr. Roger's Neighborhood in the '80s.

I remember watching this in the early 80s and recognizing Betty Aberlin. I have always remembered Alice at the Palace and wondered about it and hoped to see it again. Never did see it air ever since that one time though I've thought about it often!! Thank you for posting this!
