  • doing squat lockouts with supra maximal weight really seems to turn on that CNS and makes full rom squats with normal weight feel noticably lighter. I was going to start doing these more.

  • @FieldBoy111 I agree, they certainly do...although i only do these once in a while.the cns and entire body can get burned out as a result of performing these every week...kind of like heavy every week [max or near max weight]...i usually would do 2-3 sets of walkouts/ins before full rom squats..every 2-3 weeks..the partials/lockouts..as seen here are just something i would do ounce in a while..just for a change.

  • Next time, leave your ego at home.

  • @TreeSmoke1999 Troll radar detecting a troll,once again,LOL.

  • What is your normal back squat these days?

Wish I could find some of the old gold 100lb plates for my garage gym.

  • @bennieandscooby I'm at a lighter bodyweight now,so,i'm not really sure what my max is...i'm performing just as good, maybe even better at a lighter bodyweight...my raw back squat is usually over 3X bodyweight [just below parallel depth] for 1 rep.Alot of old school ''strength/power gyms'' or ''hardcore gyms'' have the old gold york 100lb. plates...i even know someone who found a couple at a scrap/junk yard...1 man's trash is another man's treasure, lol.

  • Nice squat, however, going 3 inches deep wont cut it. Ass to the grass.

  • @steriods4champions Look at the GOLD YORK PLATES on the ends at 0:15...you can clearly see that they're 100's,lol.

  • You got your legs really wide. That's wide even for a low bar squat. Squat lockouts mostly hit the glutes and and vastus medialis, so the advantages of keeping your legs wide aren't there like they would be for a full squat, so you can make it a bit more comfortable if you bring your feet in a bit. Still, nice reps.

  • @ahighschooldropout so why is he?

  • i think i'm one of the maybe 5 people who know WHY he's doing lockouts

  • He ain't even doing shit fake ss lift loserrrrrr fat ass. Check out my lifts real ones

  • @MrDarktide I respect your great accomplishments in weightlifting, boxing, and triathlons. I could never hope to be a pro boxer or national level powerlifter. Nor do I aspire too, but all the same we both have our own accomplishments. Sorry again for this whole ordeal, and happy new year.

  • @MrDarktide ok well i'd love to see you do what I do. But i respect what you do, and sorry for being stupid about it. We both have our own things we pursue, so I won't say anything more about that whole argument. I just want you to know that although i'm young i am a lot more physically capable than I might come across. When I said international competition I was referring to my current training to try and qualify for the olympics. And by next year hope to be competing with the elite triathletes

  • this would be cool if it actually did something useful

  • @ChadAndrewsLovesGod

You're a HS graduate, who trains endurance sports.

I'm a national level powerlifter, ex professional boxer, and i have completed multiple olympic distance trathalons at 250+lb body weight...who just happens to be a physician.

    I win.
