The DCCT made a big fuss about controlling blood glucose to slow the development of complications. Based on that hypothesis one might surmise that they knew the complications of diabetes derive from something other than blood glucose. The longer you have type I diabetes the less likely you are to register c-peptide. The reason I did a video on c-peptide is to try and point-out how important c-peptide is in preventing the long-term complications of type I diabetes. The best way to explain this is to show you the company's website developing the treatment for type I diabetes c-peptide replacement. The name of the company is Cebix and the website is: http://www.cebix.com/

You need a better understanding of the relationship between glucose levels and the formation of AGE's.
Your remark that average A1c is going down while complications are going up is completely inaccurate.
