16 Dec 1992 (Part 2) - Alone at the carriage house, Blake tricks the reporters away from the front door. Fletcher is waiting for Blake when she opens the front door for the newspaper. Fletcher turns the power to the house back on and locks the door when he comes in. Fletcher thinks Blake engineered Ross' resignation (including Fletcher losing the Washington job offer). Fletcher is also annoyed to hear that Nick beat him to Ross. Fletcher thinks Roger is behind everything and insults Blake on his way out. At the Cooper diner, Frank is trying to tune in for the broadcast of Nick's story on Ross, bragging about Nick and Ross having used the diner for the interview. Ross explains to the public that he chose personal happiness over professional ambition because he fell in love with Blake. Blake shows her appreciation to Ross for his comments when he comes home.
