@TheBereangirl Yea I completely understand where you're coming from. But watching the interview, Joel Osteen only answered the question in regard to himself claiming that he believes in Jesus. But he was afraid to truly verbalize what God commands(God's way is) for everyone not just him. And you're right you can tell the truth in a nice way. But the ways of a saint can never be truly understood by sinners. How do you tell a homosexual that he is a sinner without offending him/her?

Those who don't know the bible shouldn't talk about it. It's obvious you haven't read it. Joel Osteen has taken on greater responsibility than others because of the role he plays when he steps on that stage. There's the first problem. He's a lukewarm Christian preaching a gospel of prosperity. That's exactly the opposite of what Jesus taught. To walk with Jesus take all you have sell it give it all to the poor. Then pick up your cross and walk with Jesus.

@LPATWILLFILM thank you for that essay on why i am wrong God gives increase to the seeds we sow. But i still stick by what i said. People are hurt by Christians because all they do is say YOU ARE WRONG but how many times do you see these perfect Christians show them how to live right? When i say draw i mean be a living example not just go around preaching. I dont think God wants us to tell every one they are wrong but not be examples. God can draw people through others lifestyles

@mzmater But, it is THE LORD OF THE HARVEST THAT WILL GIVE THE INCREASE. That is why you got all this Ice Cream Christian Clergy mucking things up in THE FATHER'S HOUSE! They are trying to do that, which only The Lord Jesus Christ HIMSELF can do and that is truly "draw" and "give increase" and "convert hearts." We can't do that and that is why HE TELLS US to let HIM DO THAT! Our job, The Church's job is to be the "submitted Bride, Wife" and simply do what THE HUSBAND OUR LORD TELLS US!

But, The Lord never said it was our job to "draw" He said our job is to PREACH and LIFT HIM UP! He said when The Church does her "job" it is HE that will do the "drawing" HE "will draw all men unto [me]." We cannot be concerned with "who will turn away" for MANY will turn away -- our job is simply to "sow, plant, cultivate the SEED, i.e., THE WORD"

So, every Ice Cream pastor should put down "the scooper" and simply PREACH THE WORD OF GOD 100% FULL GOSPEL -- IN SEASON (when it is acceptable & "liked") and OUT OF SEASON (when it is unacceptable &"disliked.") Olsteen is more worried about THE WORLD'S PERCEPTION OF HIM as opposed to GOD'S PERCEPTION OF HIM. That's dangerous stuff! PASTORS STOP SERVING ICE CREAM SERMONS! The Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ is not make us "feel good" it is to make us "truly BE good" according to GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS which HE MAKES CLEAR what HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS IN HIS WORD. That is why Olsteen and Ice Cream Pastors need to hang it up! You can't be "double-minded" there is no way to tell any SINNER that their SIN is SIN without causing offense, no matter how "ice cream" so..

GOD DOES LOOK AT THE HEART and THE BIBLE IS CLEAR: "The Heart is desperately wicked and deceitful above all things." GOD IS CLEAR that those who do NOT receive THE FREE GIFT OF HIS SON (JOHN 3:16) THEY ARE DOOMED TO HELL! Why? Because they are rejecting the propitation (ransom) PAID FOR THEIR SINS and choosing to remain in SIN and thus willing to PAY THEIR OWN PRICE. But, SALVATION is given UNTO THE JEW FIRST and ALSO TO THE GENTILE -- And, that is GOOD NEWS. But it is in JESUS CHRIST ALONE!
