  • is that the translation of a chinese term? "heat"?

  • no... actually this competition was a knockout competition. You draw your fights each day and if you lose you go home. If you keep winning, you make it to the quarter/semi/finals.

i used the word "heat" to describe the fights that were not quarter/semi/final fights... is there a better word?

let me know and I'll change it :-)

  • What is a "heat"?

  • the preliminary rounds of a competition. Winners in the heats get to fight in the finals.

  • Great clip, thanks. And that ref chic is hot!

  • her name is Baibai... as well as being hot, she is a Judo and Shuaijiao champion AND she is super nice!

  • Tourneys often use the word "pools" to denote matches that are before round of 16, quater-finals, semis, and finals.

  • thanks for posting Mike

  • Babai as in "Baby" or BaiBai as in "Bye Bye"?

Another reason to get some money together to head out to China.

Also, I would love to see the Art of War events up close.

  • Lol...reminds me of when my husband and I were first dating. ^_^
