@bomberom75 this system work on a repeater. dispatch sends out the tones, hits a repeater and then goes off to the radio and pagers. most pagers are alert only which mean it can only receive. there are radios that we use that are capable of alerting and transmitting, if programmed properly.

@ICEMANof92 i still love the IIs a lot. but ours were very dependant on location. and missed calls at times. and when in church or something it was either on or off. thats was our only problems with them.

I love That tone @ 25 seconds Burlington Wisconsin uses that tone out for Rescue Squad calls!!!
