This production is more than just a theatre piece. It is like being privy to a piece of living history. The extraordinary emotion of being in the theatre were President Lincoln was dealt that fatal shot while acknowledging this part of American history immortalized in some of his speeches and beautifully woven by story and song is an indelible heart print. "The Civil War" deserves a prominent place in this world to be shared always as a living tribute as a part of our American history
