In a statement made by producer Richard he states, "I have never produced a documentary before, but I was drawn to produce this film after being inspired by so many people from all walks of life whether they were connected to Katrina or not, who came together to express their Humanity and Compassion in the aftermath of the tragedy. This is what lit a fire in me to share their stories of Humanity and Compassion with the world."
This film takes you inside New Orleans 4 months after the tragedy, it focuses on the profound loss, as well as the resilient, and loving spirit of New Orleaneans. The documentary consists largely of news footage, on the ground video footage shot 4 months after Katrina hit, still photos of Katrina and its aftermath interspersed with interviews from very credible sources, and those affected or who knew of others affected by Katrina, to interviews of New Yorkers from all walks of life who give their personal feelings on the governments handling of the tragedy before and after, and how Katrina personally affected them.

Richard aka 2nd released his 1st debut album in 2008 entitled: "FREAKY MON", and after being touched by the Katrina tragedy, he felt deeply inspired to compose all the various songs that painted the beautiful backdrop for this magnificent film.
Shooting for the film began some 6 months after Hurricane Katrina hit. Richard received footage from his volunteer dp's Bruce Thompson, Won Huh and Libby Thompson who were all on the ground in New Orleans after Katrina struck. They conducted interviews and taped live footage for the film. It was Richard's hope to obtain various opinions and responses to the Katrina Tragedy from both New Orleaneans and New Yorkers from all walks of life. So he put out an open call and interviewed nearly 6 people from NYC of diverse backgrounds and opinions for his film.
