I have the Skyfun Jet as well - awesome plane. Went for the recommended motor upgrade (Hobbyking) and also covered most of the plane with covering film so it is stronger and easier to see. Recommend this plane to anyone - any level of flying!

@999benhonda this plane is a good platform, but the stock electronics are too weak. the stock 1800kv motor and small lipo just dont cut it. but its very easy to install a higher kv motor and higher amp ESC and there is plenty of room for a larger lipo. make those mods and its a very fast and durable plane!

i just bought the RTF version off ebay. i hope i can fly it. i have been flying a 4ch brushless dynam cub. i do really well with it, but then its not as fast or sporty as this plane!

Mine broke in exactly the same place! Bit of glue and it's good to go.

I just got this. In the winter. boo. I use the 9X radio too! My first plane, pretty fun. Will fly more when it gets warmer.

It didn't seem like you were trying anything "crazy" at all.
Did it nose dive, or were you just too low to recover in time?

@GODnSPEED No I was trying to fly and teach my camera man how to hold the camera at the same time, not a good idea!

Why did it crash? It looks like smoke came out the back just before that last pass?

Pilot error, I was looking at the camera man, damage was repaired in a couple of hours
