One day of a trip to the Ligurian Alps and Piemonte in September 2008. Crossing the Italian-French border using a summer only route, arriving at a fort on a col, high above a ski resort.
How was the trek overall? Steady steady all the way.
As a suggestion, would you ever consider coming to Australia with your mates for a holiday at all? There's much to see in wide open spaces down here. Look up "rijidijau" here on youtube, and have a look at some of his sample clips.
So, you did all this in the v8 auto 90.

Yes - easy going in the v8. Only 150 miles between fuel stops, but all good otherwise!
Steady is the only way to do the Alps, easily achievable daily objectives, take in the views, have a beer, etc etc.
I'd never realised it was so varied in Australia - the tracks looks brilliant in the vidoes. Are 4x4s readily available to do a trip?
