  • @1FUNK4LIFE

How's it going ? It's always nice to hear from a funkateer.

Thanks for shining som' light on this Jimmy. Play Me Or Trade Me is my favorite Parlet LP by far.

Weren't you and Jerome on the Invasion Of The Booty Snatchers LP too, on the Bass and Axe?.

Another rare cut from 'TBOF' "Just For Play" is a serious groove too.

You and Jerome are playing Axe & Bass on Electro-Cuties from The Electric Spanking Of War Babies..

    ..and I'm all charged up.

    Thanks

  • This was the best Parlet album released. George Clinton didn't do right by these girls. They should had been big!!!!!! This particualr album featured a new singer name Janice Evans. She had a great voice.

  • Actually, Jan's first appearance is on Invasion of the Booty Snatchers.

  • @1FUNK4LIFE-So this is you on the bass and not Bootsy? Damn. I was given the impression that it was Bootsy on the bass.

  • @MsMeandmealone-I don't really know what else George could have done. Casablanca was the label that was supposed to have their back.

  • Ya'll, THIS IS FUNKALICIOUS!!! I'm going straight to ebay and "buy now" some stacks, forget bidding for them at auction. For those that don't know what stacks are, you just might not be funky enough... I don't know who gave this masterpiece a dislike but maybe they think funk is old dishwater. This is pure, uncut, straight, untainted, 100% FUNK. ThaGrooveallegiance , THANKS for giving us such wonderful funk. You might just become my new dealer.
