I love this song, always have. When my mother passed away on March 31, 2007 from COPD and Type 2 Diabetes, I played this song consistently for weeks after at my record store job and would crack open a bottle of water/can of soda (since I don't drink) to toast to my mom (I miss and love you very much). My mother was a Bob Seger fan and had many of his albums (including Stranger in Town) so I grew up liking Bob. This was probably the best album closer he ever made.

my husband is soon to lose his battle with Cancer. Funny how we used to just loved this song years ago. When we were kids, not a care in the world. And now how real the words become, God Bless you and yours.

This is my favorite song by Bob Seger, and I really needed to hear it tonight, as the tears roll down my face, I thank you for posting it.
God Bless,
