@MrStubbs1968 if they won't replace them for free, grab a Rust-Oleum High Heat black spray from home depot, and you're all good. very nice black, no shite at all, durable.. [7778 bar-b-q black ~ around 4$ i guess]

Can't believe it myself!!!!took me weeks of searching, then 3 weeks to get delivered for $170.00 and then hit with a £65.00 import tax. They do look the muts nuts on my black 1600 streak though ! Pity the paint can scratch off with your finger nails.......

i dont know about the new 1600cc meanie but its 1500 counter part had an hp only at 58 ilbs wit tq at 79 ft ilbs which is terribly weak especially for its engine class, 1500 vulcan classic maxed tq 84 under 3k rpms

True more CC doesnt mean quicker, but I have a buddy who has a Raider...it did beat me off the line but I got him on top end speed.

Hey smiles, I got the same pipes this august from the States. Problem is the powder coat is flaking off more and more every time i use it . The pipes have only done 800 miles. On to supplier now to see wot he will do. Would recommend the sound (hard kore quiet baffles fitted) but the finish is crap!

Hey Mrstubbs, I cant believe the finish on ur pipes is flaking off...thats really weird. Mine still look new, and I've had them on since I bought the bike back in march of '08. I think you just got a back set of pipes. Hopefully the supplier will refund or replace ur pipes for you

how much did those pipes set you back, i have the 07 special ed. and have chrome pipes but i would like black.

I cant remember the exact amount it cost, but I think it was around 450.
