Yes, possible but this is fake. It gets "dark" unnaturally quick and it can't be sped-up because the camera shakes as if someone is holding it steady in real time. Then notice how the people don't seem to notice the animation at all? And it definitely goes outside the walls a few times. Most of this is indeed possible but it would be really time-consuming to render even after all the measurements were made etc. Not to mention as stated before, you can't get perfect colors like that. Fake.

Not to even mention 2:14 where you can see that "light is projected" outside the building itself -- in open air...

Now there's a major question to people who say this "is real" -- have you ever tried to do light projections yourself?

If you project a white circle on a non-white building what you get is a lighted spot on the building. If you project a "blue ball" on the building -- what you get is a significantly less lighted spot on the building -- there's no way you can project a shaded blue ball on a non-white background with an RGB light projector as in 0:16

Pretty sure this is real to anyone saying it isn't. It's wonderful use of size and shadow orientation to fool the human brain into thinking it isn't. They use the fact that the building is already fully shadowed to their advantage and stop projecting light in certain areas to create amazing effects. If it isn't real, it's totally possible.

Whether it's really projected or not, it's a cool display of motion graphics.

@ Jellyform:

Actually, if you look closely, you can see some people paying attention and taking photographs @ 0:42, 1:03, 1:34, and 2:02.
