my 3rd session at snetterton, still wet, still getting to grips with the circuit, still braking way too early but having fun all the same.

  • Is that a TAG Heuer Monaco on your wrist!?

  • Omega Speedmaster :)

  • Not easy cars to drive quickly in the wet. At all. Some great car control going on there, particularly the power oversteer exiting Ritches.

Looks like you've got the close ratio gearbox fitted to yours.

    cheers

    Justin

  • Thanks again, yes close ratio box and the all important LSD fitted too. Makes all the difference to the car in the wet.

  • I can see why you might think that, but the MG was being run by Stratton Motor Company and was lightning fast.

I was pretty content to be lapping faster than every other road car and quite a few track cars there on the day, including a couple of 2-11's, a 400hp audi elise and several others who didn't like the conditions.

I also drove 160 miles home afterwards so I'm trying not to stick in the barriers on a circuit i've never driven around.

  • Hell of a tool!
