@lovemy4boys1 sorry but i listened to that just now and jess's voice is still pretty rough...maybe her voice just isn't meant to be like mariah's and that's fine. jewel and sarah mclachlan don't have big voices but they're still considered to be good singers so maybe she could sing more like them. it's certainly better than straining her voice like she's been doing for over 10 years now

@mariahforever1990 well, here is the thing with that....mariah had a few years in between where she wasn't able to do a lot musically and everything wasn't going well for her. So I do think that Jessica can make a comeback. Have you seen her singing with Travis Garland on here for her Christmas special? look it up. They sang Merry Christmas Baby

@lovemy4boys1 wow why does everyone feel the need to rub that in my face? yes whitney's voice has clearly deteriorated. i was referring more to 80s/90s whitney i know that at this point in her life, this song would probably damage (what's left of) her voice more than the drugs and vocal cord nodules did. but damn you guys are harsh! i think if someone has a voice like that, they forever deserve to be respected as singers regardless of how their voice sounds in their late 40s

she was good in this performance but i think if she would've trained her voice some more and waited for it to mature and strengthen before she started the big belting, she would've done this song a lot better and her voice would've lasted more than 2 years. and she wouldn't have to rely on singing through her nose. if your voice is like hers(a lot of range but not enough strength) it's best to leave songs like that to singers like leona lewis, mariah carey, and whitney houston
