  • what's the purpose of that qigong?

  • The 36 Methods Qigong is Martial arts oriented practice. It's divided into practice of 6 different parts of the body with 6 different moves.

This is a general Gongfu practice that develops strong flexible joints, full body power and coordination. It's usually combined with Hun-yuan standing pole (zhan zhuang) practice.

  • okay. Thx.

But I meant this piece, the one he's doing... :$

  • Ha ha

Well, they don't have individual purposes. They are all part of a whole. Nevertheless, one can find interesting applications in them. For instance intercepting and pulling of the oncoming hand.

  • What is the meaning of "Qigong"? Is that "氣功" right?

  • Right
