They say Tank had a wrestling background when he was younger. If true, he could've had success in MMA if he combined his knockout punching power with wrestling. Can you imagine how devastating his Ground And Pound would've been if he utilized that style? But sadly, he's so old school that he doesn't really consider grappling to be fighting. He only wants to stand and trade punches like a bar room brawler. He never evolved.

It was like he stepped off a bar stool and into a ring, but the guy was crazy strong. Not any real skill to speak of, but gorilla strong.
