Donna Summer - I Don't Wanna Get Hurt (Single Mix) (1989)

In 1989, Donna Summer teamed up with Stock, Aitken and Waterman to produce her fourteenth album 'Another Place And Time'. It was quite a big shift from the Moroder/Bellotte disco years, and received somewhat of a love/hate response from fans.

I personally love it, and this, the second single from the album has to be my favourite track. It was shadowed in comparison to the first single 'This Time I Know It's For Real', which was of course a huge hit for Summer here in the UK, reaching number 3 in the charts.

This is the single version, which has a different arrangement to the album version. I personally think it's stronger, and the quality of the production is far superior. I'll post the album version soon for comparison.

@passionata20 It was recorded by the same production team (SAW), who sampled a lot of their own tracks, so they all sound a little bit similar. Easy mistake to make. Glad you like it, though!
