I played wow for like 6 months was so fcking gay. Their crafting,auction house,lvling system was terrible. Been on fxi 8 years and everything is a challenge but fun and it never gets old!!!!

I used to play FFXI and then Moved to WOW. Im disapointed in WOW because they cater to the players TOO much any more.. and if FFXI had more easy ways to pay for it I would play it again.

Played both, played FFXI for 6 years & WoW for 4 and I have to say when I quit FFXI i was WAY more upset than when I quit WoW. FFXI's best items are NOT on the AH. The PvP isn't as good as WoW but it's not really a focus point of the game. FFXI is more about TEAM WORK as apposed to being able to solo most everything in WoW. Leveling in FFXI takes time and skill, any n00b could level their character to max in WoW. If you suck in FFXI, it gets around and you do not get party invites. FFXI>WoW.

@EaTYoUrBrAiN other paid and unpaid MMO's and the ONLY one that has kept me going is FFXI. I'll never abandon Odin Server, my character or the game probably. Even if it is just to dick around and solo some stuff 90NIN/45DNC. It's just opinion. I just gave my opinion. I can name plenty of jobs that take timing and skill that you WON'T find in WOW. And...my brother is still a WOW head. He's same as me, played many other MMO's, but he likes WOW. But its mainly cause of the people he knows.

@EaTYoUrBrAiN Getting lvl 75 hasn't been an achievement for years. Dynamis is such a long time ago. lvl 30-90 takes 4 hours in an Abyssea party. I have played WOW, I have 1 level 85 character. I still play FFXI, I also play 14. WOW just doesn't require that much skill. That is my problem with it. Play Ninja on FFXI, that takes timing and skill. But it's just my opinion, like you have yours. People get into games, get addicted to them and swear by them above all others. I've tried plenty of
