http://www.ntv.co.ke The government insists that the countrys farmers must adopt genetic modified food crops as a means of reversing Kenyas perennial food insufficiency. Agriculture Minister William Ruto argues that the country has little choice on this matter considering that most developed countries are turning to this form of bio-technology to improve their food production.

  • as usual africans act like dumbos (i am nigerian), why should kenyan govt adopt GMOs ? have they considered that it continues to be a controversy even in the western world. i am sure it's big business and politics that allowed this., not kenya's perennial problems. i am utterly disappointed.
