The patented Skidget Log Hauler installs quickly on a ATV with either a 2 inch or 1.25 inch receiver, or a simple bolt-on replaces the ball on of the ATV/Quad. An adapter allows for the installation of 2 or 3 Skidgets. The adapter can be affixed behind an ATV, Tractor or Snowmobile. This is a low friction concept. An ATV can only accommodate one Skidget but it is possible to haul more then one log at a time. The capacity the Skidget can haul will depend on the tow vehicle. A good size ATV can easily haul 16" to 18" logs with a 6" to 8" diameter top. No more towing and manouvring of a log skidding arch with wheel. The Skidget is fast and efficient!

Not at all! The extensible (not shown very well on this clip) receptacle/receiver acts as a chain tightener when you move forward with the ATV. The chain chokes the log. It's like a rabbit snare, the more you pull, the more it tightens. I too was skeptical at first, but when I tried it... Boy, it works like a charm. Anyhow, cheers!

that chain is completely pointless, if it's not done up tight then it ain't gona take much for that log to slide off.
