Toyota has launched its most awaited SUV Toyota Fortuner in Indian market with only one diesel variant. Currently, Toyota has launched only one variant of Toyota Fortuner which is equipped with Toyota's most popular 3.0L diesel engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox and with 4WD (Four Wheel Drive). If the market response of Toyota Fortuner will be good then Toyota will launch the other variants of Toyota Fortuner like, petrol variants, AT (Automatic Transmission) variants etc. Toyota has kept Indian customers to wait for Toyota Fortuner for quite some more time. It is expected that Toyota has launched Toyota Fortuner in India with a face-lifted model of an existing Toyota Fortuner which has been recently launched in Malaysia. Toyota Fortuner is an impressive power machine with muscular body and its sporty looks should take anyone's fancy. With the launch of Toyota Fortuner, Toyota has planned to makes its position strong also in the premium SUV segment which is currently dominated by Honda CRV, Chevrolet Captiva and Ford Endeavour so that company has launched Toyota Fortuner in the highly competitive price range of Rs 18 to 19 lacs in its segment.
