Djent Metal - Cosmidjent - Interplanetary Voyager

This is the first song for my new side project called "Cosmidjent". I'm the drummer for An Aeon Awakening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-bgQSRj3uo. We sound like a good mix between the Contortionist and Oceano. If you disagree keep it to your god damn self.. Please :)

I recorded this with a 7 string Shecter Damien Elite guitar using the Audio Kontrol 1 interface from Native instruments. The guitars were run through Amplitube Metal and Amplitube 3 using custom made presets. The drums were done with my Superior Drummer custom preset. Download the new version here:

Dude. Any chance you could send me those amplitube presets. they sound buff and i can't get 3 or metal or give me a good sound

@SuperAsh5489 Don't waste your time with Amplitube for metal/djent sort of presets. This one I'm using here has a lot of post processing on it and a bit of "cheating" to make it more stoppy. Get guitar rig 4 if you can - you can get some djenty sounds out of it plus it has lots of cool effects to play around with. Pod farm would be ideal but unless you have their interface you won't be able to use it. If you still want those presets just send me a message on my channel.

@reanedful Thanks man! I'll be updating this song with better quality soon and posting some new stuff along the same lines as this. Just working on perfecting the mix right now. Check out the band I play in and write music for called An Aeon Awakening (link in the description), it's spacey and Epic at times but geared a little bit more towards being heavy and crowd pleasing because that's kinda what we need to get bigger around the area where we play shows in.
