Introducing the all-new HS 250h. All hybrid. All Lexus. Arriving Fall 2009.
The HS 250h sedans expected fuel efficiency will be more than 30-percent better than the most fuel-efficient model currently in the Lexus lineup, while earning a SULEV emissions rating utilizing regular 87-octane gasoline.
The all-new HS 250h sedans 0.27 drag coefficient (Cd) makes it among the most aerodynamic in its class. Airflow management over the exterior, below the under floor and through the air passages was extensively examined. A unique gull-wing-shaped roof-panel design reduces mass and overall vehicle height, thus reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency.

  • Guys it's actually a Camry Hybryd meshed with a Prius. I don't see how anyone see's Corolla in there but whatever.

    Anyway its an outstanding car.

  • Let's be friends. Lexus makes good cars, and please let us agree on that. I think the idea of making a luxury "prius" is a wonderful idea; and this most likely will dominate the volt! Long live lexus! :)

  • Ah, as I absolutely guessed you would bring that up. Re-read that. Does that say it's bad? Or is that just someone's opinion. Be in mind, my opinion isn't a factual basis.

Why are you wanting to fight about this. I wish you didn't fight with me about this. But answer the question, you got me interested.

  • "No, it's a hybrid Corolla. And yes, I don't personally like 're-badged' cars. It's a already mass produced car plus some goodies with a dramatic price increase" seems like you already answered your question earlier.

  • Please re-read all of your comments and note how much hypocrisy there is. To answer your question of "what is so bad about that" I will answer your question with another question:

Where did I say it was bad?

  • lol, it doesn't matter to begin with. Corolla doesn't even make a hybrid. It's also more than just re-badged as it is a Toyota Avensis in Europe which is the exact same thing a the HS. Same luxury; only they don't call it a Lexus. So really it's not re-badged, nor is it a corolla. It is a Avensis with a Camry hybrid engine; what is so bad about that?

  • Awesome. Glad you know your Corollas. I on the other hand think it's just a Corolla. Do you understand that I'm stating the opinion that it's just a mere Corolla Hybrid? Whether the car is a Prius or a Avensis (In which you say it's both) I'm still going to say it's rebadged.

  • No, Its actually a re-badged Toyota Avensis; and it is not what the 2010 corolla is supposed to look like. The Avensis isn't even sold here in the us, and the engine is from a Toyota Camry hybrid. The Lexus HS shares NOTHING with the corolla; except the fact that it was designed by the same studio. BTW the 2008 corolla is different than the 2009 corolla in terms of body design and interior design. However the 2009 and 2010 corolla share the same body.

  • No, it's a hybrid Corolla. And yes, I don't personally like 're-badged' cars. It's a already mass produced car plus some goodies with a dramatic price increase.

And dumb on your part calling me a GM Fan. Thus your assumptions are blithe and unintelligent.

  • no its a dressed up Prius; and so what? Are you trying to say that a re-badged Prius made into a Lexus is somehow bad? If so your most-likely a GM fan; and thus you have no room to talk my friend.
