i know machen won the fight but seeing this for the first time i see no machen domination. I gave quarry both rounds.

@tonyrome068 Are you aware that Lyle was beating Ali going into the eleventh round? Or that Shavers hurt Ali several times and the fight was very close? So close that some people think the fight should have been a draw! Shavers demolished Norton and almost knocked Holmes out! And Quarry destroyed Shavers in less than a round! Quarry couldn't beat Ali or Fraiser, that's true. He lacked the proper management for much of his career and he was smaller than the other heavies. # 3 in the world WOW!

@emoran001 None of the aforementioned had any real skills either, they were club fighters and all had one thing in common. They were all victims of ALI! They all probably received medical treatment afterwards also!

@Sonnyboyx2 Jerry never had skills, if you compare him with Joe Louis, Ali, even Jimmy Ellis! They were boxers and all Jerry was at his best was a slugger like Fraizer1

@emoran001 You shouldn't smoke so much of that stuff. It's never to late to get treatment for your blatant drug abuse. Saying that any of the Klitchkos could beat Ali, or a prime Foreman , Liston, or Holmes is beyond insane.

Yes, Johanson knocked out Machen in one round, but anything can happen in a boxing match, especially when a fighter has the kind of right hand that Johanson had. Machen easily went the distance against Liston. Quarry was exceptional, but the Klitchkos would have beaten him. As a matter of fact, they would have beaten Ali and all the others too. We don't want to admit that because we want to believe that American heavies are the best. Not any more. The times, they are a changing.
