He could stand to do more running and back-airing. DDD shouldn't try to fair fight someone. Uncharged Down-Smash is your friend. Dededecide using Up+B for a quick spike kill.

Considering how broken MK is, if you can't no-death your opponent you need more practice. J/K Try to figure out your aerials a bit more. When on the ground, specifically at the beginning of the match; glide! Sail at head-level and attack, it parries almost everything (even Warlock punch), and puts you right beside them.

lol i don't know if MK is truly broken as some people says. MK's pretty good but characters like toon link or diddy kong can be tough opponents for MK (but i never mastered MK so i couldn't really know). DDD has slow cool down time (SC terminology :p) but he is quick to attack considering his size, DDD also has considerably longer attack range. In the hands of an experienced player it's alittle hard for MK to touch him directly.

1:33 That's how you do it... Good Metaknight handling. If there is one thing we Dedede players don't like, it is an 'in your face' fast character. Metaknight is and will always be one of the toughest match ups for Dedede.

I hooked off of Metaknight since I could'nt get his Shuttle Loop right, like the one on 1:33... That move is killer and primary KO for Metaknight.

All in all, good job. May we meet on the fields of battle sometime!

Your tactics are quite exceptional, IMO. Of all of the MK vids I've seen, your particular style is less eratic and you prefer not to use the stage warp ability. You also tend to do more Aerial attacks, and are not afraid of direct frontal confrontaion in rapid succession. I also noticed that you...

yeah, good mk, man.  like the others said, just kinda get in your opponents' faces. a really good ddd will give even a good mk hell, though.

off-stage dair is a good edgeguarder/recovery-gimper, as well as nair (which also deals a lot of damage).
