NBC and the Detroit Red Wings partnered up to offer the prize of a luxury suite for you and 19 of your closest friends to the first 2009-2010 home playoff game of the Detroit Red Wings. All you had to do was count the number of times the NBC commentary said the name "Zetterberg" in the third period of a game between the Red Wings and Flyers on Sunday, April 4th. You then filled out an entry form with the number of times they said Zetterberg, and you could win. Unfortunately, they counted wrong! This video is the proof. I double-checked to make sure I counted correctly before I entered, and it was all for nothing. This doesn't seem right. The Detroit Red Wings should repeat the drawing , this time from the "21" entries. The fans who followed the rules correctly should not be hung out to dry because of a mistake made by the Detroit Red Wings.

All video is copyright the NHL and NBC. It is used solely to show the incorrect result of the contest.

  • Wow, show a little emotion Wendy. Henrik Zetterberg just freaking called you!

  • I counted 21 also BIG disappointment to those of us that took the time to make sure we had the right number. I had a peice of paper and rewatched the 3rd period to make sure i was correct.
