This is a wingbone turkey call I made from the wingbones of a NH turkey I harvested this year during the spring turkey season. I'm practicing doing yelps and cutts on this call. I'm very happy with the way it sounds and will use it this season when calling turkeys for someone else. These are the first turkey calls ever used and were first made and used by the Native American Indians. The wing bone turkey calls have been used for hundreds of years and are fun to make and use. They are also another neat way to cherish a trophy tom and remember a successful hunt . Very rewarding to make one of these and use it in future hunts and also is a very unique call and nostalgic.
Good calling. Im about where you are at with my calling. I would love to be able to kee kee with mine.

According to Lovette Williams the ideal bones are from a jake. Hen wingbones are the traditional thing to use though. I make turkey wingbone calls and own several of both hen and jake wing bone calls and I must agree. The jake wingbone seems to have a more versatility when it comes to pitch variation.........This fella might need to do a little more practice before posting his vids.......Thats fo sho!

I made 25 or 26 calls so far, two of them the marrow was hard. Yes you can still get the marrow out. Do you have a dremel tool? If you are having problems getting help send me a message, glad to help. I make mine for fun, friends, and family, have photos if interested in looking.
