I am in the unique situation of being from the generation that was able to go to college basically for free; however, do to life circumstances, I postponed it. Consequently, I have huge college loans and struggle as the younger generation does, AND simultaniously, I have friends, from MY generation, that got to go to college basically for free. The sad part is this: any time a group struggles in this country (no matter what the struggle) the problem is made virtually invisible to those who are not affected. Whether the problem is student loans, lack of jobs, poverty, racism, sexism, you name it.

  • Hey Renee good upload, have you seen this documentary, "College Debt Enslavement or True 21st Economic Freedom and Prosperity?" it's a good one on this topic.

  • @ace7953

Hi ace! I apologize for not answering you sooner, regarding your comment on my video on college debt; unfortunately, I am no longer being notified, via email, of all of the posts I get on videos. Also, on my channels, nothing is being updated. On this channel, it says that I haven't been here for a month, when in fact, I was here yesterday. Something fishy is going on. Anyway, I will check out: "College Debt Enslavement..." video per your recommendation! Thank you! :-)

  • In an economy that demands further training after High School , it should be a given . I live in a state that pretty much decided that our kids will be forced into year around schools , some type of college level or technical training would better the kids alot more .

  • @Thoushaltcomply Yeah, depends entirely on what you want to do, and how good you are. Some people, a rare few, are brilliant.

  • @Thoushaltcomply Which dont get me wrong. Thats very noble. Im just speaking from a practical standpoint.

  • @mistertakeda No. The knowledge isnt pointless. The knowledge is good. But the way things are now, its gonna be very hard for young people to get jobs on the high end. Seems to me employers know theyll be able to get experienced workers at cheaper prices. If i was a young person going into college, id try to get a agriculture or a medical degree of some sorts. And he says he wants to be children athletic teacher, specifically special olympics.

  • @Thoushaltcomply Why? Does he want to be a scientist, engineer, or some other highly skilled profession? That's hardly pointless. More like impossible to get in, unless you have the degree.

  • For the lust of money, colleges in america are actually dumbing down & selling out america's youth which are our future. I think all american youth should have the opportunity of a free education. This would help our economy tremendously as we would be training up future business owners, educators, etc. promoting & aiding a more prosperous economy for us all. Our kids ARE our future. Why should we train up foreign kids which aides foreign economy while dumbing down our own who cannot afford it?
