Casualty - Someone To Watch Over Me - S23 E33
Nick Jordan is getting checked out by neurologist Frances Lively. Dr Francis Lively and Nick Jordan were at medical school together. Nick Jordan remains upbeat and even finds time for flirting. But later at his consultation, Jordan is shattered to discover that his symptoms are caused by a large brain tumour and has possibly only months to live.
Jordan’s consultation clashed with someone else’s and resulted in tea being spilt down a girl. He gives her his handkerchief.
Later Jordan sees the girl in the pub and joins her. They flirt and the girl later falls down a beer cellar which results in her going to the ED where Jordan treats her and finds out she has vCJD.
Back on the ward, Zoe and Adam speculate about Jordan's numerous mistakes recently and come to the conclusion he's been drinking. Adam confronts Jordan but Jordan says to meet him at 7:30 in his office. Adam goes to see Jordan and says that he’s seen Jordan’s slip-ups and tells him to take a break and comes to the conclusion that Jordan is on booze. This causes the stubborn leading consultant to change his mind about telling Henry about his illness. He decides to carry on working and recommends that Adam's sent on compassionate leave so that Adam doesn’t realise how serious his illness is.

I liked how at the beginning of this episode, Nick was trying to get Frances to come into the MRI machine with him!!
