Black Orpheus - played on my 1948 Conn 10M tenor saxophone - 1st time w/ background, sorry backing track is not very loud. This is all recorded thru my Macbook with built -in mic. I really should try recording with a good mic someday, but this way, you got what you got as far as sound goes, good look in the mirror for me.

Seems to me Saxquest in St. Louis on Cherokee street has a whole row of them on the main floor of their shop / museum. Be sure to choose one with original lacquer, even over rolled tone holes - Dave

Actually it is just the tiny mic on the Macbook, probably the lowest quality, and the room I am playing in is no great shakes either. A couple of my other videos were in diffefent room of my place recorded with the sme set up. I just posted a new video thru a mixer with effects and a better Mic

now that is a real sax sound. Big bore 10m- as good as it gets.
