nice truck !! i have a 52 3100 series and currently building a 50 chevy rat truck using 50 chevy cab w/ 48 doors , hood and bedsides on 95 gmc sonoma frame w/ 355 v8 5speed and gonna label it a gmc. but i have a question , the hood ornament on your truck , is it original or something you added ? my 52 has the same one and i know its not orig to 48-54 chevy trucks . again , nice truck .

Looks awesome! I thought about converting my Chevy Panel to a GMC front end. You just don't see enough of them.

They are sometimes difficult to find. They were mostly used for delivery trucks. Back then, nobody wanted one unless they needed it for their business.

That's why I've always liked commercial panel trucks. They were underdogs, beat to the ground. They're the opposite of the glamorous 55-57 Ford Thunderbird.
People drove them off the road when they ran out of gas, and left them there to rot.
